Restoring people to an authentic relationship with God in Canal Winchester, OH

What you need to know.

First, God made and knows you.

The same God who created the heavens and earth and knows everything about you and His love is available to you.

But you might be wondering how that is possible. If God is real, if He is perfect, if He made everything, then how could I possibly be good enough to warrant Him loving me? This is the all important question! And there is an answer.

The 1 unbelievable answer.

No matter where you might find yourself right now, you don’t need to be hopeless. The truth is that all people, everywhere fall short of God and we fall short of warranting His love. Because we are both born with the effects of evil in who we are and we also sin (go against His rules and direction), we all deserve to actually be hated by Him, not loved by Him!

The story doesn’t end there. The other half of the story is that God so loves His creation that all His love, in spite of our histroy, our past mistakes, our sin, our shame, is available to mankind. But how? It’s simple: Jesus Christ.

The only way to find the hope and forgiveness that we all need is in the work of Jesus. Jesus, the son of God, came and died on a cross (then rose again!) so that we could be saved by placing faith in Him. That is the Gospel. That’s the good news. You don’t need to be good enough. You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to ask Him for forgiveness and believe. If you need that forgiveness and hope right now, just ask God.

Start with this:

“Jesus, my life is not perfect. I am not perfect. I have broken your commands and fallen short of the eternal perfection that you have. Nevertheless, I thank you for dying for me. I confess now that I have sinned and I need to be fixed and cleaned from that sin and set free. I want you to be Lord of my life. Fill me with your Holy Spirit. Forgive me from my mistakes; heal me, and give me the power to live my life for you.”

If you believe these words, then you can have trust that God has forgiven you. For we know that “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:31)
